Two or three weeks ago, about the same time as responses to bug reports from FL slowed down dramatically (well deserved vacations I hope), I reported that the dates in many annual study guides were coded without the year. This leads to logical #$%# where it appears that the fact it is Sept 6 is the relevant information when what is important is that it is the first Sunday in September, the first Sunday of a new church year. The resources with this error are those which don't always state the year in the date in the text because the year is in the title and it is assumed the reader will retain the year portion of the date. A typical example: Underwood, Jonathan, Ronald G. Davis, and Ronald L. Nickelson, eds. The KJV Standard Lesson Commentary, 2003–2004. Cincinnati, OH: Standard Publishing, 2003.
With all the date stuff in this beta this issue becomes more of a serious problem rather than a significant annoyance. Can we get an acknowledgment and correction before we claim this beta is tested?
