Highlighting - For some reason I can not highlight.

For some reason, I am no longer able to highlight.  Any suggestions on how to turn highlighting back on? Thanks.

Which platform - desktop / laptop;  mobile ; web app?

Exactly how are you trying to highlight and what doesn't happen?

If you are on desktop and having this trouble, it is possible that you have the visual filter turned off. In that case, you actually ARE able to make highlights (and have been doing so), but you just don't see them. The solution: Turn the visual filter for highlighting back on.

Each resource has a visual filter menu in the resource pane. It is the "three circles" icon.

I use a laptop, I want to highlight verses on scripture in ESV.  Visual Features are turned on.

Visual filters are on for the specific notebook you are trying to create a highlight in? If so, please provide screenshots so that we can help to troubleshoot.
