Save as Passage List
Using this search as a test case
“Save as Passage List” yields
While occasionally one may want long term storage of the search results, the Passage List is more often preserved for:
- Memorization
- Work list
- Input for additional logical operations
- A filter limiting passages for future searches
- A Bible resource filter
For memorization, select view:
For additional logical operations, use the merge function:
For filtering searches – note that fuzzy search ignores it

Warning regarding Passage Lists
Verbum Help on advanced use of program settings:
[quote]• set show passage list visual filter to yes or no disables or enables the Passage List Visual Filter from appearing in the Visual Filter menu. This filter can cause slowness in the application for users with an extremely large number of Passage Lists, and this command provides a workaround to improve the performance.[1]
Save as Visual Filter
This function begins to build a visual filter with the search argument converted to the condition for a highlight. The user needs to:
- Create an actual filter name.
- Select formatting.

This option is not intended for our test case. The discussion is delayed until original language topics are discussed.
