Bible Browser Intertext Results

The New Testament Use of the Old Testament dataset tool will only show the verses with the Intertext tag "Quotation" when the "Target" is in 1 Corinthians (when selected that way)

The Bible Browser tool will show the verses that are tagged with "Quotation" and have a "Target" in 1 Corinthians. But the BB will show more verses than the NTUOT tool. The extra verses in my example are Citations or Allusions or Echoes in 1 Corinthians, but appear in other NT books as Quotations.

BB says, "Do you show up in 1Cor? Are you now or have you ever been a quotation? Great, you made the page."

Is this the expected behavior of the Bible Browser?

Is there a way that I could get the BB to only return verses that are Quotations in 1 Corinthians?

The BB is showing Pro 10:13 as being a quoted in 1 Cor, however it is only an allusion.

That verse is however quoted in 1 Peter.

Perhaps there is a slight error in the logic how the BB is collating the data.

Both Target=1 Cor and Relationship=Quotation is true for that verse, but not for the same Intertext.

I will see if I can find some other examples.

Having said that it might just be that it is both allusion and quotation??....and the NT use of OT is ignoring one of them and the quotation intertext is not displayed in the right click menu as the allusion is showing.

Hopefully someone more familiar with how it should be will chime in. Something not quite right I think.

It could still be the same logic error as above.

In the Bible Browser, each restriction is considered independently. This means that if a label appears more than once, the results the BB returns do not necessarily apply to the same label. You need to use a {Label Intertext} search to get the precise results you want.

You did an excellent job of analysis to show that the restrictions are considered independently.

Quite strange considering how the other tools with facet filtering work, as may lead to wrong data.
