Upgrade to 9 without buying an expensive package?
I remember upgrading from Logos 7 to 8 and not having to buy an expensive package. From what I can see on the website that doesn't seem to be the case with 9.
Can anyone confirm if there is or is not a way to upgrade to 9 without paying hundreds of dollars to do so? I have a substantial library already and don't need to add a ton of new resources.

The others provided the links you needed, but for clarification: The free software engine has historically been made available only after a "launch window" has closed for a new major release. Your timing was good: Last month the answer would have been that you need to wait a little while longer.
