Create NA28 Word List for a Passage

Create a vocab word list of all Greek words uses less than 25, 15, 10 or whatever you want to memorize. 

Save it as Greek < 25, or whatever you want.

How?

Click Docs > New > Word list

This opens a empty word list panel then Click Docs > Entire NT (NA28) with audio

You now have a list of every greek word in the NT listed by number of times used

Select by number all the words used, say, over 25 times.  To do this select the word at the top of the list  and then scrool down to the first wrodd above 30 times, and click shift+clik to select all those word and then delete the\

Now you have a list of all words used 25 times or less

Save  this word list as All Grk Vocab < 25

Click on Entire NT (NA28) with audio at the top and replace it with

All Gk Vocab =< 25 as  the title.

Press enter and it saved.

You never have to do this again unless you want a word list of everying over 50 or less then 15 or whatever.

Save the Workspace with the name “Memorize”

You now get this and you do not have to doe this again for future word list of words =<25

 

How to create a word list for your passage

  1. Load Memorize workspace
  2. In the right Panel, higlight and select Matthew 22:34-46
  3. In the left Panel with your Matthew 22:34-46 click add and chose Selected text

You now have a list every work in Matthew 22:34-46

  1. Select Merge and scroll down to your list of All Gr. Vocab =< 25 which you have alread created above.   Presse Intersectio and  in your right panel you have a litst of all words in Matt 22:34-46 which occur 25 or less times.  In this insance there wete only 5 words used less that 25 times.
  2. Retitle the list in the right Panel to Mattheww 23:34-46.   Press enter to save it.
  3. Be surre to delete the temporay word list you created in the left panel.  Ctrl + a to select all the work and then delete.

For convenience, I created a link on the Logos dashborad  called “M” which loads my Memorize workspace.

  1. Get the logos flash card app for OS or Anriod

I installed it on my Adroid by going to the Android play store and looking for Logos flash cards.

Once everything is set up, it takes me 30 seconds to create a new Word list for the text I am studying.  I read the Greek NT once a year and am creating the word list for each day.  I will end up with 365 word lists ready for my annual Greek NT read through. 

If you have more than one account, be sure you sign into the correct one or the app will not find your word lists.
