Clean up libary

Hi, I have a bunch of resources that I don't want, I tried to clean them up in the library, yet they are still there, is there a way to completely remove them, so they don't show up in the library at all? I looked at the information from logos and followed it, yet still having the issue

You would need to use the "hidden resource" feature. https://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books

In the Library, Ctrl+right-click on a resource you don't want, and select "Hide this resource".

To save time, you can select a bunch of resources at once (shift-click or ctrl-click to do multi-select) and hide them all in one fell swoop.

Welcome to the forums, when you have been here a while you will find that when this question come up I alway slip in my two pennethworth.

Please remember that Logos is a reference library not a statement of faith. Everytime you remove an item you deplete the power of the Reference library to use it links.

You may not ever want to read Andy Capp on 'Baptism and Guinness' but you may miss out on something if one of the resources you do want to read makes reference to it but you have disabled the link.

"One man's junk is another man's treasure" I guess that's why we can curate our own libraries. Tagging resources, to me, is a better way to de-clutter my library then hiding books. If I don't want certain resources to show up in my searches, I simply don't tag them. Then when I search on my tags, the books I don't want to see are not part of my search. Hiding books is too final and to difficult to do to be a solution to clean out unwanted resources. By using tags as my cleanup method I can change my mind on a resource without a major undertaking.  I have gone back and forth on some resources enough to not use hiding resources as a way of cleaning up my library. Tagging and religiously using the 30 day return policy of Logos has kept my unwanted resources to a minimum.
