Correct me if I'm wrong (Please!), but my understanding is that while there are multiple ways to search Notes in order to locate the specific notes where a search term is found, as of Logos 9, you still have to either manually scan the note itself, looking for the word or phrase, OR use the CTRL-F to highlight the search term. And in the latter case, it STILL requires manual repositioning of the note so you can find the portion of the note where the now-highlighted term is located.
Does anyone know if this limitation is being addressed by Faithlife/Logos in a future release anytime soon? At the very least, while using CTRL-F, it would be SO helpful if the screen were repositioned for every HIT (like in Evernote).
If not, then I'd be interested in strategies others use to compensate for this. In other words, obviously, this limitation would be minimized by breaking content into shorter notes versus creating LONGER notes where you have more text to wade through.
What say you, oh wise ones more advanced than I?
