Data in Information card and related Factbook entry

When the Factbook filter is set on, mouse-over on Biblical persons, places, and things will show an information card while a click will open the Factbook entry.

The Factbook entry allows access to many resources – all with in a few clicks of the original Biblical text. Isaiah provides an example of the links for a Biblical person.

The heading for Isaiah shows three access chains with links indicated in blue. The links show an information card on mouse-over, open to another Factbook entry on click.

• Jeshaiah (Name)
• A Prophet

Key Article

The Key Article is determined by an algorithm that gives priority to certain Lexham resource and considers the user’s prioritization of potential sources. There is always a link to the article shown and additional links depending upon the resource used.

Media

Key Passages

Selection of Key Passages is somewhat subjective – the user may not agree with Verbum’s choice.

Referred to As

All references to the individual in original and target languages. There are links to the Bible and to the lemma in Factbook.

Events

Both Biblical Events (think Biblical Event Navigator) and Timeline events are shown. They each link to the corresponding Factbook entry. In addition, the Biblical Events have links to the Bible narration of the event.

Dictionaries

The dictionaries are limited to those that Faithlife has aligned with Factbook.
