Quick Access Bar Folder Behavior
If drag a book to my quick access bar I found an option to create a folder.
When I create a folder it created a neat little navigation menu for the single book that I selected.
My thought was that I should then be able to create a list of books that I was actively reading.
I am unable to drag additional books into this folder for use.
I believe the folder would allow me to collect additional resources into a collective group (Folders).
Am I misunderstanding this functionality? Thanks in advance.

I am unable to drag additional books into this folder for use.
Drag the book to the shortcut bar.
Right click on icon
Assign to folder.

When I right-click on the book, I do not have an assign to folder option.
These are the only options I have when I right click a book in my quick access bar:- Open
- Open in a new tab
- Open in a floating window
- Folder: (This only seems to be for naming and not assigning)
- Delete
The first image in my previous comment shows the only option's I'm seeing when I right click on a resource.

The Folder works for assigning for me - are you Mac or PC?

Thanks for answering on a Saturday by the way. I wasn't expecting such a quick response which makes me like this software even more. .
Here is my current OS version.

Hope this helps. I also tested using the light theme in case there was some strange anomaly with this.

I'm on a PC so someone on a Mac may need to answer. Did you try putting the folder name in the section in the menu?

You can disregard this.
I selected a book, and had to give the Folder the exact same name, and it imported it into my books menu.
The logos software terminology for 'folder' was a bit misleading for me. I'm sure there is logic behind the term 'folder' but this function doesn't operate the way native folders do.
It's a minor detail, but for the sake of clarity I think the term 'folder' would make more logical sense as Group, TagID, NavID, MenuID, which would help reduce the obscurity of this function.
The favorites section has native folder functions that are standard to how folders operate.
No worries though. I work in IT and have a difficult time when people ask me to change some obscure function that no one else is having an issue with.
