Red letter New Testament text

I did a quick search but did not turn up what I was looking for. How does one fix or turn off the red letter text on Logos 9.3 on the Mac? I have Red Letter Text turned off in preferences, but still about 1/3 of the text in the New Testament is interspersed in red text. When a bible is opened it is black text for about 2 seconds and then changes to mixed red text making it much harder to read. I re-downloaded the Logos software which made no difference. I presume there is a switch somewhere to get it to turn off, but I haven't been able to find it. I don't recall this being an issue before upgrading to version 9. I have looked at many versions of the bible, but they all show the same red text, so it isn't just one translation.

    This suggests that it is not only words of Jesus that are in red - but other words as well. Is that correct?

    If so, I expect you have a Visual Filter turned on in your Bibles that is doing this. To check this, open the Visual Filter menu in a resource, scroll down to the Visual Filter section and disable them all (you can do this at the top level). If that clears the red text, turn them back on and try to find out which one is causing the red text to appear

    Greetings Ralph and welcome to the forums. There are quite a few volunteers that hover hoping to help someone out.

    Just double checking - If your switch is not set to No you should change it.

    If that doesn't clear it... Please confirm that all the text in Red is actually the words of Jesus.

    If there are some words that are not words of Jesus then check your Visual Filter.

    If you still have the problem you might post a screenshot of an offending page along with one of your Visual Filter menu

    Thank you for the solution - it was a Visual Filter. There was only one there - Figurative Language - when I turned it off my problem was solved. 

    Much appreciated. I knew there had to be a switch somewhere.
