Bug - Library Update loses Focus While Entering a Tag
Issue seemed to develop after 9.3 update
Select a resource in the library with the information panel open
Enter a tag, press enter
The yellow updating library notice appears at the top
Start entering a new tag in the same or new resource
If tag is not entered completely before library update is complete, when it does complete, the info panel goes blank, the resource selected becomes unselected and all typing not completed disappears causing me to have to reselect the resource and reenter the tag info.
This issue is consistent whether one or multiple resources are being tagged at the same time
Can anyone else confirm please?
I'm on Windows 10 and Logos 9.3
Thank you.

all typing not completed disappears causing me to have to reselect the resource and reenter the tag info.
In my case, the tag text as long as it was typed becomes a tag (the deselection seems to work as if I had ended the tag info typing with a return).
This is a bit better, but not good.

Thanks for confirming.
Hopefully this will be addressed sooner and not later. I'm in the middle of retagging my library.

Bump- still a problem in 9.3 Sr2
It's hard to believe no one else has complained.
Please address this issue.
Thank you

You have to wait for the library to complete updating to avoid this problem. Until they make that process faster, this will continue to occur.
Here is a work around:
Open the resource, click on the three vertical dots on the right, select information (typing from memory so it is something like that); now scroll down to the tag box and tag away.
I hope they fix this so it is easier, but you now have a work around if you don't want to wait for the library to finish updating.

Here is a work around:
Thank you John. I appreciate your response. I do that now with a single resource as a work around.
1) the bigger issue is changing multiple resources at once and multiple tags
2) this wasn't an issue before the 9.3 update
3) I've received no acknowledgement from Faithlife that they are aware of this bug.
Is it in anyway connected to the addition of the store tab in the library that was added at that time (IIRC).

I'm getting annoyed by the similar problem of Library updates destroying my attempts to add or change Short Titles of resources in the Library...

Thank you for the additional confirmation. Hopefully someone from Faithlife will also chime in.[8][8][8]

2) this wasn't an issue before the 9.3 update
It was an issue for me in Logos 8 ... whether or not you see the issue depends on (a) the size of your library (b) the speed of your computer (c) the precise task you are doing ...multiple resources being changed in succession is the easiest way to make the problem appear.
