It would be good to actually only have monographs in the monograph type, and designate something else as sort of a "catch-all" for everything else, such as "miscellaneous resources".
Some other useful types might be:
- Novels (as a "catch-all" for all fiction except children's books)
- Children's Books
Just these two types should make a major difference.
