Logos Research Commentaries Bundle Missing Some Pre-pubs

I went ahead and purchased the full set of the Logos Research Commentaries on sale from March Madness, even though i already had every volume which has been released.

The bundle also included resources for Daniel, Matthew and Ruth which i've had on pre-pub for a very very long time. With the discount from March Madness, the cost to get those three unreleased resources was cheaper than their cost as pre-pubs, so i went for it. Personally, i really don't like it when Logos sells books which are not released yet as they did with EEC and Logos Research Commentaries and the Geographical Commentary set. Especially when it appears that some of the resources are still years away from being published. That's why i passed on the EEC and Geographical Commentary set. I'm content with having the volumes which are currently available and don't want to pay for things i may not see for years yet.

Having said that, let me now contradict myself. I also have on pre-pub Luke, 2 Peter, and Jude for the Logos Research Commentaries. Why were these not included in the bundle available with March Madness? If i'm already buying Daniel, Matthew and Ruth which are in pre-pub, why not Luke, 2 Peter and Jude?

Maybe the first three are at least essentially 'done' and just waiting to be released and the other three are farther from completion?

This reminded me of the pre-pubs that we already own, but haven't been released yet. It's a lot larger for me than I would have guessed.

For my list, I think it's a case of volumes that haven't been released for people who pre-ordered them but have been released for those of us who had them in Wordsearch.

John, I'm not sure why Matthew, Daniel, and Ruth were in the bundle while Luke, 2 Peter, and Jude are not. LRC Daniel and Ruth are submitted and have been waiting on me longer than I'd have liked. The others are being actively written, and I expect Luke to be submitted soon with 2 Peter and Jude coming in later this year. In the past, we put LRC on pre-pub to gauge interest, but now I don't have a new one put up unless I have an author contracted and actively working on it. I'm in conversations with several potential authors and will hopefully get the rest of the NT under contract this year.

I'm not involved with EEC, but I can say that Geographic Commentary Pentateuch should be out this year. Hopefully, Geographic Commentary Historical Books, Vol. 1 will be out next year. If everything goes smoothly, maybe even Historical Vol 2 could be out next year too. The content has been submitted for Historical Books and is in editorial, but these have a long editorial process to ensure quality and to allow time for media curation and map creation. Geographic Commentary Poetry and Prophecy is with the series editor. I think most contributions have been submitted. So the full series should be wrapped up in the next few years.

I understand that the delays can be frustrating, so I wanted to be clear about the fact that we actually have most of the content somewhere in the editorial process for Geographic Commentary (but the project team is small and we each primarily do one part that no one else can do) and that two of the three unreleased LRC volumes in that bundle are also in editorial.

I'm thinking it might have to do with which ones had been listed when the LRC 20 vol. collection was made. While LRC Luke was listed long ago, it was on Community Pricing while Matt, Dan, and Ruth were "in production" because I had authors contracted. It's likely that Luke, 2 Peter, and Jude went up and "in production" after the 20 vol. collection and revising the collection was overlooked.

But you are mostly right in that some are essentially done and others are farther from completion. Daniel and Ruth are submitted. The authors on Luke, 2 Peter, and Jude are due to submit this year (with a high probability that they actually will).
