Voice selection on Mac

How do I change the voice of my computer reading text in Logos on Mac Big Sur? I've gone into system preferences and changed it for the whole computer but Logos still insists on using the robotic Siri voice instead of the upgraded version selected on my computer. I've restarted Logos and my computer and it's still the same voice. Is there a setting within Logos to select the computer voice?

My understanding is that Logos be using your system voice... but after just changing it, mine is not either. I downloaded the male and female (US) versions of Siri, but it is still using "Alex" (which I deleted!).

On another note: The mobile app (running on my M1 MacBook Air) DOES recognize and use the Siri voice.

Thankful for changing Accessibility => Spoken Content => System Voice to Fiona (Scottish Standard English)

Thankful for Fiona speaking English clearly using Read Aloud at 1.4x OR 2.0x speed (including Pilgrim's Progress, which did not have Audio downloaded to my device).

Thank you for this. I have however done all that in my system and restarted my computer and it still uses the (Alex) one only. When is reading from text it does this. I'm not sure about audio bibles and such though. I use the text to speech often on my system due to poor eyesight. The rest of my computer will use the newly selected voice but not Logos. It's very strange.

Free Lexham Intro Collection (5 vols.) includes Lexham English Bible (LEB) with Audio New Testament that has Narrators menu.

After changing using System Preferences to change System Voice, used LEB Narrators to change between Marv Allen and System Narrator to learn if newly chosen System Voice is usable for Read Aloud. Replicated Siri (Female) - United Kingdom & Siri (Female) - United States voices not being usable on macOS Big Sur. In contrast Siri (Male) - United Kingdom & Siri (Male) - United States & high quality non-Siri voices sound fine.

I am surprised that it has almost been a year without this being fixed.
