Managing Bookmarks

What is the best tool - and the best way - to manage bookmarks in the Mobile Apps? I’m assuming that Favorites will be the best tool, given that they appear to carry over across desktop and mobile platforms ... but the Favorites system seems a bit complicated and unwieldy to me.

... and only tool. FL has some sort of developmental limitation on book navigation. They don't like quick and easy bookmarks. They don't like telling you where you are (reading). And their wear-marks are carefully curated to be turned-off as best practice.

Actually, the 'Read Next' tool could have been a good bookmark system, except it doesn't remember where to read next, if you've re-visited the resource.
