Lemma in Passage section in BWS Guide

Running a BWS Guide on τελειόω shows 18 results in commentaries on Hebrews.

When I restrict the range of the BWS to Heb 2:10 (the particular verse I am interested in), it shows the same set of results (correctly) but reduces the count from 18 to 4

Is this by design or is this broken in some way?

And also there is a retry button at the top where the last entry should be. Clicking that achieves nothing.

Any thoughts appreciated

If the BWS is limited to a book (e.g. Hebrews, Luke) the counts are consistent i.e. Lemma in Passage heading vs. its Passage/Resource counts. This doesn't hold when you limit BWS to a passage e.g. Heb 2:10, Heb 2. The passages have to be relevant else you get no results.

Yes - I see the same. As far as I can see, limiting to the Book - such as Hebrews - doesn't change the set of results at all. In other words, restricting the passage range does not impact what results are returned. And I believe this is behaving as per the documentation (the section from Logos help is below):

In Bible Word Study

The Bible Word Study is keyed on a specific lemma, so the Lemma in Passage section displays instances where that lemma is discussed in the library. Results can be viewed by Passage or Resource:

• Passage groups results by biblical book first, then resource.

• Resource groups results by resource first, then biblical book.

Each passage is also a link to open the resource to the relevant section. Two lines of text are displayed with instances of the particular lemma highlighted. Click more to view additional references.

The results displayed do not change, which is reflected by the individual Commentary totals. But the passage total for Hebrews is accurate (19 for Hebrews 2, Hebrews 2.10). This is different to what I said previously.

I mean that something like Hebrews 2.12 does not return any results.
