Strange behavior L9.4 Beta 4

First, the oscillating tabs have re-appeared. They were put down years ago.

The two tabs on the right are resizing constantly, oscillating back and forth. (Obviously a screen shot doesn't show this, but I don't have video capture software to show what is really going on.)

Second, my pop-ups are appearing in the UL corner of the screen rather than their normal places.

Clicking on the three vertical dot icon on the RH side produces a pop up on the LHS:

Hovering over a word in the Bible, the parsing pop-up appears in the upper LH side of the screen rather than the bottom LH side.

I am not aware of changes to my software that might have created these strange behaviors. Is anyone else noticing these?

HMM. I resized the resource panel shown above and not only did the oscillation stop, the pop-ups went back to their normal positions. I cannot now re-create either strange effect. Problem solved, but questions remain.

To the best of my knowledge the oscillation and weird placement has been continuous if you happen to get the right combination of panel size and resources. Lucky for me, I only hit it once every couple of months - and usually when testing something for the forums.

The panel size seems to be what caused it. Funny, I changed the panel size and it stopped, but can't create it again. So how it occurred in the first place, I have no idea.

The misplacement of the pop-ups was not something I'd seen before, but that, too, went away when I got rid of the oscillating tabs.
