HARD DRIVE
My question is whether a 256GB SSD hard drive (stand-alone) is sufficient to handle logos 9 for a long time, or do I need more memory?

I think you mean “storage,” not “memory.“ The later is generally used with RAM.
Is 256 GB sufficient? It depends. How large is your library? By “stand alone” do you mean that the OS and other apps will be on a different drive? Also, is this Mac or Windows? You will need advice about what you can and can’t do with additional drives.

Sorry, I should've said storage. My library is OK. I own the Gold Library series that I purchased before I upgraded to Logos 9. I also use Window 10. This storage will be an additional hard drive (the first is 1TB), but it's not SSD, so all my additional programs will be saved on my main hard drive.
I was wondering if a 256 SSD of storage handle Logos alone?
Thank you for your advice,
Joseph

Saying that you have “gold” isn’t too revealing. Was it Gold 8 and you owned nothing before? I think 256 should be just fine, but I’d encourage you to get input about second hard drives before making a purchase. It isn’t supported on Mac, so I know nothing about it. I believe it is supported on windows.

Since you say it's for Logos alone, then I'll say yes, that's enough. A very large library with multiple base packages at or over Gold level (think 20k plus resources) may have a size of around 100GB - you could look for the properties of your current Logos folder to see the footprint of yours.
Have joy in the Lord!

I have almost 24,000 resources in Logos. I have Logos exclusively on my D drive. It uses about 160 GB. I think you should be good to go. How big is your library and how much space is being used now?
Logos doesn't notify me when I get messages, but if I don't get back to you, sorry
