Non-Biblical labels

There are a handful of labels that return results from resources other than Bibles. These are run in a basic search:

  • Journal Article – used primarily with resource type:journal
  • Sermon – used primarily with resource type:sermon
  • Personal Letter – used primarily with resource type:letters
  • Bible Outline
  • Lectionary Reading

There are several new labels since this chart was last shown:

  • Benedictions
  • Covenants
  • Fasts
  • Oaths
  • Vows

Labels are considered datatypes in the Verbum ecosystem. They are basically elements that can be identified by label specific attributes. Remember that omitting an attribute is essential asking for “any” value.
