Connect isn't delivering on one of it's benefits (missing BSM)

I was reviewing the benefits of connect this morning and I noticed that one of the listed benefits isn't being given or seen in a while (that I can remember).

We are supposed to be getting digital issues of Bible Study Magazine. Is anyone receiving these? I know I had to purchase the last volume but I haven't seen any for 2020-2021.

I have BSM 12 which was last update March this year, and contains upto issue 6 which is Sep/Oct 2020.

Ok. So maybe since Volume 13 isn’t out yet, they’ll just release it at end of subscription year? It would make more sense to release them as they come out though.

Faithlife are often sucked into 'bay of pigs' thinking and action. The magazine was a good idea for the subset who consider that Faithlife is limited to the West Atlantic ex-colonies. It is a relief that there is another subset who have grasped that Faithlife is a multi-national company.

The launching of the physical magazine just caused frustration for the international users, the cost of postage was extortionate, international customers felt left out. I guess the idea of printing and posting in multiple countries was logistically and managerially unviable.

So we have the reluctant move to a digital edition but with out the heart, soul, and energetic enthusiasm to make it work.

The parochialism is evident in most of Faithlife's offerings and rampant in their idea of suitable media for Proclaim.

But Bellingham is in the East Pacific ex-colonies .... definitely self-identify as Pacific rim.
