Issues with yellow highlighter and dark mode

Hi all.

I am trying to do the following, but it is not working.  Perhaps, I am doing something wrong?

When using dark mode, the natural yellow highlighter is yellow on white text.  This isn't easy to read for me.  I have a lot of these yellow highlights in the bible and many books.  I changed the highlight to black text (as below):

However, none of my previous highlights that I made using this changed to black text.

On top of this, when I highlight a new passage and click "I," it still comes out yellow on white text (not black).  

Is there a setting that I am missing to make all my highlights change to my new highlight or at least the new ones?

Hi JKG,

Each highlight is a note file, so if you look in the Notes tool, you should be able to find all the notes with highlights that you want to change, and then once selected, change them all at once.

Unfortunately there is not a way yet to filter on the highlighted color, so you will need to manually select the notes.

You can however use Ctrl/Cmd+A, Shift+left-click, and/or Ctrl/Cmd+left-click as required to selected and deselect multiple notes at once.

If all your highlights are in the same notebook, this will be relatively straightforward as you can just select that notebook and then use Ctrl/Cmd+A.

Once you manage to select a whole load of notes, you can then just change the Highlight Style at once and then Apply Changes.

In the Notes Tool, there is a filter to distinguish between Notes and Highlights, which are essentially two different types which are determind by their creation method. Highlights, are created using the Highlighting Tool, Notes are created using the Notes Tool, however you can add notes to the Highlight type, and you can also add highlights to the Note type, so depending on your previous workflow, this might not be so useful.
