Bug: Shortcut To Prioritized Bibles Using Back And Forward Arrows Hobbled

The shortcut whereby one could move through the list of prioritized Bibles in the active panel is not working properly on my MacBook Pro. With ESV open and active (my first prioritized Bible) selecting the forward arrow advances the panel immediately to my next highest prioritized Bible, the NRSV, but neither the back or forward arrows work at this point.     OK, I have determined that if you close the Search Box that opens the feature functions as expected. Why does the Search Box open on its own?

    The Search Box opens of its own accord in these few Bibles: NRSV, KJV1900, NASB95, ASV1901, NET, NASB95PARA, RSVCE, BHS SESB 2.0, and LXX Swete.
