I only just discovered that I can use 2 or 3 columns on the desktop app which I really like when using things like study bibles. Can this be done on my ipad? I would love to have multiple columns when using study bibles.
You can have two columns. See view settings.
Make sure scrolling view is 'off', to see columns.

nope. Portrait. I could not get it to work in split screen landscape.
Well, that's strange. Here's mine (Verbum) ... portrait, then landscape ...uses the old picker!
My guess is that FL has it optimized for the type of iPad. You need landscape to get the pixels required by the app. The reason it didn't work for me (I am guessing... I dont have my iPad nearby to check) is that I had two resources open. In landscape, that would have made each panel closer to your mini in portrait mode. I bet if I just have one resource open, it would work in landscape. it doesn't make sense otherwise (if designed that way).
