Verbum 9.4.0.0009 Update Channel Beta. I don't presently have any installations not on the Beta channel, so I can't confirm that this is weird outside of the Beta, although I expect it is.
To replicate:
Preferred Bible: RSVCE.
Version A.
- Type Additions to Esther in command bar.
- Select option Open Passage Study Layout to Greek Esther. This is the only Scripture reference option that appears.
- Observe that given reference in PG is ESV-A Greek Esther.
- Observe that my prioritized Bibles that contain the Deuterocanon are open to Esther 1:1–3:13 and that the indicated Scripture commentaries alternatively point to Esther 1:1–3:13 or passages from the Additions to Esther and get confused. [:(]
Version B.
- Type Greek Esther or Additions to Esther in command bar.
- Select Go to ESV-A Greek Esther in preferred Bible.
- Find oneself at Esther 1:1–3:13.
Optional Postscript: Run Passage Guide on Esther 1:1–3:13, and get the expected results.
Right now, I can't figure out whether ESV-A Greek Esther is supposed to point me only to the parts explicitly unique to the Greek, or to everything in the Greek version, or to something else entirely.
Changing my preferred Bible to the Clementine Vulgate doesn't change PG results but does make an Open to Greek Esther in preferred Bible command open to Esther 1:1–9:4 instead of 1:1–3:13.
Subsequently trying a PG on Esther 11-16 gets me a hit for Esther 5:2 in LLS:29.2.11 but otherwise behaves as expected... as best I can tell. A PG on Esther 10:4–16:24 gets me a bunch more hits for Esther 5:1-2, which is unexpected.
