How do I change the voice and default speed of the voice of the Read Aloud feature in Logos?

Changing those settings in Windows Settings seems to do nothing in Logos. It is not respecting the system voice and speed settings.

Running Logos 9.5 Beta 1 on Windows 10.

Yes, but...

1) it seems to require a restart of Logos; and

2) Logos doesn't seem to respect the default speed set in Control Panel.

What I'm trying to accomplish here is to get a reading speed that's faster than the default 1.0 but slower than the rushed and unnatural 1.4 next option.

Also, pressing the Pause button while reading aloud, then pressing Play again, will start from the beginning of the page again, not resuming from where it left off before pausing.

I really hope the Read Aloud feature gets some attention and love, as many of us who need to do a lot of studying rely on this feature to preserve our eyesight.

Some time ago, I posted a User Voice related to this. I don't know if it made the cut to the new suggestion site.

What I proposed was to be able to change the Win 10 voice (the ones supplied with it and other purchased voices, e.g., Ivona) within Logos without a restart. That seems to be possible, as my Ivona Reader program is able to switch to any of the four voices I own, plus it doesn't require a restart.

I also suggested automatic voice selection for Read Aloud based on Language in the resource metadata, limited of course by installed voices. That also seems possible, since my much-maligned Fire tablet is able to do it.
