It is 10 years old and written by Frank! So it is not current, but it may still be relevant if you like to be systematic about tagging  e.g. "6. Never use a tag that is not on the controlled vocabulary list!",  "11. Do not add a tag to the controlled vocabulary that you are unlikely to use."

5. Feel free to add many tags to any one book. (Just remember how hard it is to remove a single tag from a group of books with multiple tags.)

• That is fairly simple with the Info pane in Library

13. On occasion look for any books without a tag just in case you missed one. In the library “find” box enter: title:* ANDNOT mytag:*

• replace that rule with {MyTag None} or sort Library by "My Tags" and look at the group with a dash (no tags).

At least one forum member has submitted a different method in recent times.
