Aliens from the dark/far side of the Moon and our Anunnaki heritage

Just looking for some lite reading on the popular notion that we wee ppl are the descendants/creations of Anu and his tribe.
Can anyone suggest some "healthy" resources from scholarly ends concerning Mesopotamian/Akkadian and even Canaanite creation stories/myths?
These don't "necessarily" need to speak to my question as I can make up my own mind but I am looking fore substantial articles.
Preferably in Logos. So much easier to track foot notes if tagged properly.

or is it spelt rather than spelled making it a double error?
