Just a question here.  Is there any plan to eventually incorporate and make saved layouts from Logos Desktop available to the Logos web app?  Thanks in advance.

There is a feature suggestion for this here: https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/logos-web-app/posts/add-saved-layouts-to-the-web-app. Please vote for it.

Development of the Web App has slowed significantly in the last couple of years or so, unfortunately. Hopefully FL will put some additional resources into this project at some point, and features like this - much needed features - can then be deployed.

It's definitely been (and will continue to be) discussed, but there's a couple large projects we'd need to do first (for example, we don't have the fully flexible layout system that desktop has, so many users have layouts that are impossible to present on web currently).

Definitely upvote that request if it's important to you, but in the meantime, all the open panels are saved in the URL, so you can add a bookmark to your browser and re-open your layout later.

As a minimum the Logos provided layouts should be in the web app.

David Schwegler, my open panels are no longer being saved in the URL; only the active panel is. So when I refresh, only the most recently used panel is there. Do you know what happened here? This change happened within the last few weeks.

Verified, this is now "broken" in the last week or two. I had created various layouts in the past and saved the url that it created [a fairly large one]. Those bookmarks still work, but once the page is loaded it will then refresh/end with a shorten url that references only one item within the layout - the one I last focused on.

I can no longer create new "bookmarks" like I did in the past. The web app no longer generates the large urls that can reference multiple resources.

Thanks for raising David and Adam.  We introduced this bug a couple weeks ago and have now fixed.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Accidentally posted reply from my non-faithlife account.  Just replying to my reply from my employee account, in case that matters :)
