Image Unavailable

I like that I can now insert images into Notes. I mainly used this feature to copy screenshots into my notes. Now, a few weeks later, I have a white rectangle instead of the image and in the middle of the rectangle the message: Image unavailable.

How can I get this image back?

    They magically re-appeared without me doing anything. Not sure what happened there.
