The "My Content" section in the Passage Guide thing keeps going round and round

First, I want to say the the Logos 4 Mac version is really shaping up really good. It's actually becoming way more useful.

Now, I've noticed that when I use the Passage Guide, the "My Content" section, the busy indicator just keeps going around and around. It doesn't stop or time out. I also notice that at times the program becomes non-responsive. I'm wondering if the thing going around and around maybe part of the cause. Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas about why it's doing this.

Unfortunately, that probably means it crashed in the background. Can you give us an example passage guide search and some logs (Console Messages.log is probably the most helpful in this case). When this happens, do you also have to force quit to exit?

I just uninstalled Logos 4 off my Mac and reinstalled it to see if that would fix the "My Content" from spinning and it didn't. The passage guide search I just did was John 3:16 and the My content section is still spinning. It will do this on any search I do. As for the Console Message.log I don't know where that is. I look around the forum to see if I see where someone else points out where it is. Yes, I have to force quit Logos almost every time.

There are very few problems that an uninstall/re-install will fix. The only one I can think of is if the application won't launch.

If you're having problems indexing, or searching, or downloading, or something like this, it probably has more to do with your specific data, either the resources or the documents, than the application itself.

I say this just to hopefully prevent other users from spending time uninstalling and reinstalling. Most of the time it doesn't help because the problem is data related. Posting your logs (as you've done) is the best way to get help.

In looking at your logs, I can see that the "My Content" section crashed. I don't know what the specific cause of it was right now, but I'll file a but and we'll take a look at it.

One more thing I would like to add is that I am up to date with the updates. This has been an issue for a while with the "My Content" spinning. The only time it stops spinning is when the program locks up and won't respond. Is there a way to turn off the "My Content" part? That we I can use the program in Mac OS X.
