Can't update Logos on my iPod Touch
I recently purchased a 64gb iPod Touch. One of my main reasons in doing so was for the Logos app. I am impressed so far...
I have tried to update to the latest version, but cannot do so. I don't know if this is a problem with Itunes or with the app (I am assuming Itunes). When I click to install the update, it says "Verification required - before you can make purchases, you must tap continue to sign in, then verify your payment info." I do as it asks - verify my credit card info (for a free app, mind you) and then it takes me back to the page to download the Logos app. I click install and it takes me through the whole process again, never installing it.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I considering deleting the app and then downloading again, but I have a LOT of resources downloaded on the Touch and I am concerned that I won't be able to download it at all!
All other apps download and update okay, with the exception of Olive Tree bible reader, which does the same thing as Logos. Any ideas?

Try updating through ITunes on your computer. Just sync your IPod touch and it should work. That is how I got the new Logos update.

This isn't something Logos has any control over or any special knowledge of. It sounds like something is out of sync with your iTunes account. I would try updating through iTunes as was suggested.

Tom, when you set up to make purchases in the app store you did so in iTunes. The verification each program is asking for is your iTunes password, and not your credit card information.

I think the whole problem was that my 11 year old son had Logos (with my login info) on his iPod Touch and it was associated with HIS iTunes account. I deleted it from his iPod and iTunes account and did the same on mine to start from scratch. Unfortunately, Logos would not download, (My iPod just continued to say "waiting" under the Logos icon.) Tried to restart the iPod Touch and it had crashed and would not power up - just got the black screen with the apple. To make a long story short, I had to restore my iPod from scratch, had to download 4000 songs and I am in the process of re-downloading 7-10 gigabytes of Logos resources. (A "download all available resources" option would be great on the iPod app!) Hopefully it is working - time will tell...
Thanks for your responses.
