let's see...
I currently reside in Hutto, TX (in the greater Austin, TX area, about 15 miles NE of Austin), by way of North Carolina.
Since everyone else is sharing a bit more about themselves... I'm currently in my 3rd year of training to be a pastor, which has been just like getting a seminary level education without seminary or accreditation, but still very thorough. As far as my day job, I currently work in the Bible software industry as a manager over the e-book/development department. That's about it, other than being married to a lovely wife & have three not so miniature clones of myself [:)]

Hmm...so you work for the competition, then? A spy in our midst? [;)]
Just kidding. Blessings to you in your work. Anyone helping people to study the Bible is doing good work and can't be against us.

Yeah, I work for the competition, the company that likes searching words [:)]
It has definitely been a blessing working for a Christian company, I especially enjoy creating resources that help people better understand the Word of God.
Spy? LOL, by no means. Much to my wife's displeasure, I've probably spent close to $4,000 (if not more) in the past 2 years upgrading my library. But, being the in-house Logos guru does have its perks every now & then.

Cool, my brother in law was stationed on the USS Samuel B. Roberts for a few years. Unfortunately, when I was young, I was to rebellious to serve my country.

G'day Tes,
I live in Brisbane, Australia. I have been using Logos Bible sofware for many years. My first package was LL2.0 Scholars Library
I am a layperson who likes to study the scriptures. I have an interest in the Old Testament and particularly the Pentatecuh and I am exploring the Hebrew Language. I recently started a Certificate in Theology through Moore Theological College. I attend MPC where I am involved as a Sunday School Teacher.
Up until now I haven't really ventured into the forums, I've had some personal issues to deal with, but from now on will be a regular around here as I once was on the old Logos Newsgroups.
Its nice to meet you. [:D]
Blessings

Hey MC ,
I've been unwell lately with flu and asthma so didn't make it today or to last Sunday's service, should be back in action next week.
We do sometimes say down under. Once of our unoffical anthems of course is I come from the land down under, a song sung by an Australian group, Men at Work in the 80's.
For a little bit of a look at my home town, Brisbane, have a look at this video.

Well, I'm relatively "new" here, so I didn't know you from before, but welcome back anyway. I can already tell you're going to be a great contributor. I'm a longtime Logos user, too. I was a beta tester pre version 1.0, before Bob left Microsoft to start his own company. But I'd never ventured to participate in the old Newsgroups. I've been involved in the forums since last October, late in the beta of 4.0, and have found this to be a truly amazing online community!

So is it true about Australia -- do the "women glow and men plunder"? [:)]
You might have heard of Garrison Keillor's fictional midwestern town of Lake Wobegon, Minnesota, "where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average." Keillor is a fixture on National Public Radio with his "Prairie Home Companion" show.

Hi Tes,
I'd be happy to give you more info if I could, but I'm afraid it might jeopardize workers who are currently there. Let's just say I spent several years in one of the 3 former French colonies bordering the Mediterranean directly south of Spain, France, and Italy. Before that I spent almost 3 years in France.
In Him,

I'm in San Antonio, Texas. I've been using Logos for a few years now. Currently I'm enrolled and taking classes at Liberty University - BS Religion. I would love to get a M.A.R. or M.Div, depends on what God lines up. Either way my desire is to go into full-time ministry.

Greetings!
I pastor in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada. I have been here for about 5 1/2 years. Prior to that I served as a missionary in West Africa, residing first in Nigeria and then in Burkina Faso. I have also travelled to Mali, Niger, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin, Ghana, Cameroon, Central African Republic as well as residing in France for a year in the midst of all of that.
I enjoy Logos for Mac and the Logos iPad app. For a while I was wondering about my purchase, but they have really taken the Mac software up a notch and it is great!!
