Hey - do you know Café Gruber? (Aschaffenburger Str. 37, 63500 Seligenstadt)
I went there from time to time to drink and buy Colombian Coffee (I lived there some years), that really tasted Colombian (all the other sold in "supermarkets" were disappointing). I am not 100% sure but think that Gruber sell also fresh grounded Ethiopian Coffee. You are from Ethiopia, aren't you?

Peace, Tes! You started this great thread a couple of years ago; and it's become truly a great thread for many reasons ....
For the many Logos Software users who are fairly new to Logos 5, I thought I'd mention another "old thread" - in case any were interested ... in taking a little "peep"
*smile*
I remember fondly enjoying that thread very much also, eh?! *smile*
Here it is: "Where Do You Live?" "What Country Are You From???"

Hi L.A. I know Aschaffenburger Str. very well.I lived in Bahnhof strasse it is some mtrs.away, but I don't remember the Coffee shop, I don't drink coffee it could be perhaps the very reason that I couldn't remember it.
I am from Eritrea. But, it makes no difference in my mind whether I am from Ethiopia or Eritrea. Before I have come to Deutschland all I knew was about Ethiopia, Let God bring peace to these countries to live in a mutually way.
I consider Seligenstadt as my native country. I Love it very much I go almost one time a year. When I was in Seligenstadt I used to go to Nazarener gemeinde seligenstadt, currently I live in Schwanheim in Frankfurt am Main.Where are you living currently.

The Brazilian Coffee is heavy roasted with a quite strong flavor and less caffeine.... ...not yet accustomed to... ...but nice too... :-))) [C]

I live on a farm near the village of Milo, Alberta, Canada. Raised Lutheran (ELCIC) and now attend St Stephen's Anglican Church in Calgary when I can. Even though this thread is over 7 years old I never contributed too it. But reading through it was a real blessing. The numerous people we no longer regular hear from and those dear souls who have gone on to be with our God. God bless you all. And inspired by the gentleman who share some words of wisdom and the coming up closing of JFB complete, I would love to share words of wisdom from the great Saint Jerome:
When the venerable John could no longer walk to the meetings of the Church but was borne thither by his disciples, he always uttered the same address to the Church; he reminded them of that one commandment which he had received from Christ Himself, as comprising all the rest, and forming the distinction of the new covenant, “My little children, love one another.” When the brethren present, wearied of hearing the same thing so often, asked why he always repeated the same thing, he replied, “Because it is the commandment of the Lord, and if this one thing be attained, it is enough” [Jerome].

Thank you Dan for introducing yourself and contributing to this thread. This thread reminds me the good time we had with our brothers and sisters. Some like Steve Clark, and others have gone to the Lord and some are not active in the forum as they used to. I just miss every body. May the Lord bless every body !

The forum is a blessing, and there is a bond that does develop among those who participate. Certainly, most of us share a bond of faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for God's Word. We share a love for Logos Bible Software. We share a desire to help others.
I am thankful for all who participate in these forums. I have been blessed and helped by so many of you.
Tes, this thread is a reminder of all that. So, from an old Methodist preacher in a small town in Mississippi (USA), "Thanks, y'all! And thank you, Tes, for this thread."
"In all cases, the Church is to be judged by the Scripture, not the Scripture by the Church," John Wesley0 -

I join in welcoming you. Tes is eager to see an Amharic Bible in Logos format, and I guess you would be interested in that too. I too have enjoyed Ethiopian food at Kokeb restaurant in Seattle and Nyala restaurant in Vancouver. I took a summer class at my seminary on the History of Christianity in Africa a few years ago and learned about the ancient history of Christianity in the area of Ethiopia & Eritrea. I had known nothing about it before (apart from the story of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8). God bless.
Very interesting Dear Rosie. Thank you very much.

Hello from Valencia, Spain!
I'm a Spanish catholic IT teacher, proud father of three children, and a student at Domuni, the Angelicum online university.
This thread is a absolutely nice idea, Tes. May I ask FL to be at the top of the forum always, to invite each member to introduce him/herself?
I love the ecumenical and open-minded spirit of this forum. I just suggest another thread where we could introduce the way the cult is done in our own local churches, say in Christmas, or at any other moment, with photos. It would be more vivid than reading a book, and would help us know the rich world we are living in.
May God bless you all.

I used to live in Seligenstadt and Mühlheim Dietisheim around Hanau. I was traveling to Hanau for shopping. But Marburg is another direction. It is halfway from Frankfurt to Kassel. Welcome!
