How to search for

How do you find the verses where Christians are told they should love other believers in the NT and where we are told to love unbelievers? I'm trying to compare the difference between the two for a class I am teaching Sunday. I tried with the Browser but don't seem to be using it right nor the search function.

Hi John,
Others may show a more refined approach, but, a simple proximity search of the New Testament like: love NEAR (brother, neighbor, stranger, enemy) will get you started.
Edit: Be sure to check Match All Word Forms.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

Try (love, pray, bless) NEAR (brother, neighbor, stranger, enemy, persecute, curse, abuse) with Match All Word Forms.

Hi John,
I would look up the following Scriptures:
John 13:34; Luke 6:27; Matthew 5:44; Matthew 5:46; Romans 13:10; Luke 6:35; Matthew 22:37-40; etc.
And then use The New Treasury of Scripture Knowledge to help cross reference those passages.
Here is the link in Logos for this awesome resource: https://www.logos.com/product/1214/the-new-treasury-of-scripture-knowledge
