Faith: Your Best Resource Recommendation

I'm searching for a Biblically sound application rich resource on faith that you would give 4 or 5 stars. It doesn't have to be contemporary in fact I would prefer a tried and trusted believer as the author.

Believe it or not besides the Bible itself I can't come up with a recommendation. Can you? I'd love to hear of one precious written encounter.
