Making and using personal books (Resources)
I am interested in adding some personal articles and my Thesis and Dissertation to Logos which could be included in searches relating to relevant topics. I think I have an idea of what it is about and did add one short article but it is just the article with no links to any of the content. What is the nuts and bolts of how to do this for someone who wants to try it? Articles, videos, and actual examples would be great.

I am not aware of any training videos on making PB's with fancy linking. It is something that I have learned by doing - and I have shared a few of them over in the Files section here. But a good resource to start would be the Logos wiki at https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books
The first thing you should probably know is that there are two basic types of links - Resource Links which go to a particular resource/book, and Reference Links which will go to any resource tagged as a destination for that datatype.
To make a Resource Link, first open the resource in Logos to which you want to make the link.
Then verify that you have set "Copy Location as" set to L4. You do this by finding this option in the menu that appears when you click on the three vertical dots icon at the top right of the resource in Logs.
Then highlight the text to which you want a link.
Then press Ctrl-Alt-C in Logos.
Now go to your PB source file. Enclose the passage you want linked within [[ ]], with a >> at the end, and then paste the link in. You should get something like - [[p. 175 >> logosres:dtevangluthschmid;ref=Page.p_175]], which will put a link to the text "p. 175" to page 175 of Schmid's work, the Doctrinal Theology of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. This example is from https://community.logos.com/forums/t/50318.aspx , one of my shared PB's...

Articles, videos, and actual examples would be great.
There are many many actual examples in the wiki: https://wiki.logos.com/User_Contributed_Personal_Books and those usually point to forum threads in the Files forum. You'll sometimes see discussion of techniques and iterative increase of quality of the PB sources shared. Most PB makers learned how to do it by trial and error and by copying existing examples.
Regarding articles, the reference probably still is https://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books
I'm not sure whether there are official training videos by Faithlife. What I found helpful and affordable was the PB making course by learnlogos.com - and that course's documentation comes as a PB, too (and if I'm not mistaken, John Fallahee made the documentation of all training courses subsequently offered on that platform as PB sources, too).
There are always users willing to help in the forum.
Have joy in the Lord!
