Memorial Day Sale: Pricing Issues

The Memorial Day Sale does not have a huge discount but works for many resources. I noticed, however, that there are numerous pricing issues when it comes to bundles and collections. Several of them have a higher price than if I purchased the individual volumes. Here are some exampels:

...plus others.

Can FL fix this? It really is tiring to figure out how to get the best discount.

When individual resources go on sale, it often means that it will be cheaper to buy individual books in a collection instead of the entire collection.

This can vary from user to user. One user already owns a couple of titles from a collection and finds it cheaper to buy the remaining titles individually. Another user does not own any titles from a collection and still finds it less expensive to buy the entire collection, instead of individual titles.

All the product descriptions listed in the previous posts currently include this statement:

Individual products included in this collection are currently sale priced. Purchasing the individual volumes in this collection may be more cost effective than purchasing the collection itself.

I can understand this if individual resources are on sale and the bundle/collection is not. However, in the examples listed above, individual resources as well as the bundles/collections are on the 25% sale.

People will buy more if they just need to click one button rather than click their way through individual resources.

Somethings wrong with 'regular price'. I'm not logged in ... stripped cache. No dynamic pricing in sght. If you back the 25% out for both collection and singles, it's pretty obvious something wrong.

I also just tried it out using incognito mode of my browser. The Oxford Biblical Studies Collection (9 vols.) costs $244.49 as bundle in the sale, while the individual resources add up to $149.91. That's quite a difference.

Indeed, the regular price of https://www.logos.com/product/44124/oxford-biblical-studies-collection is significantly larger than the regular price of its individual contents. That is an error.

The same is true for https://www.logos.com/product/9210/day-by-day-collection, the only other one I have checked.

Joe, it appears that the problem is that these collections were priced out without paying attention to the "Everyday savings" on each of the individual products' PDPs.

2 of the 4 books are on sale, 1 is a pre-pub, and the other is regular price. The bundle would cost $91.96 if purchased individually, which includes the discounts, but is on pre-pub for $58.99. Double discounting, why can't they all be this good?[:D]
