Our church has 2 morning services, with one of the services hoping to attract non-church people. It's not a seeker service, because it is designed to "feed the flock", but it hopes to be "accessible and relevant" to all.
To date we've followed the same teaching program at both services, so have had the same preacher at both. I'm conscious that most of our teachers are less able to communicate in a way suitable for non-church people.
The type of talks that works well include good verbal illustrations but also good visual illustrations - especially ones that can be "acted out" rather than just PowerPoint type illustrations.
Are there any resources people can recommend that might assist in making our teaching more "visual" and so more memorable? It would great to have recommendations that cover the whole Bible, but happy to know about ones that cover just a whole book or even a theme that might be used for a series.
