Creating Collections based on Packages
Has anyone done this already?
I'm interested in creating some "Collections" in Logos that would reflect the different 'packages' (i.e. - Bronze, Silver, Gold, etc.).
I work in a context with several Logos users and it would be great to 'throttle' my library to match someone I'm working with, especially if I'm wanting to help them understand the software and the resources they have.

"Throttling" would have to include versions (E.g. 6, 7, 8, 9) as well as throttling associated features and indexes to be most effective. Might be tough to do with reasonable effort. Just a thought.

I don't think that having collections of Logos packages would help you to "throttle" your library effectively.
Get them to share* a Collection of their Library (Library >> Information >> Save as Collection). You could get them to include/exclude certain types of resources to enable the degree of "matching" you require. Also remember that they will have resources you don't have (they won't show in the collection, but you may see the titles in the "Plus these resources" section).
You can also get them to share a Bibliography (Library >> Information >> Save as Bibliography), which can be saved as a Collection.
* sharing can be done via a private Group or as Public in the Docs menu.

We have published "official" collections for Logos Base Package collections to https://faithlife.com/logos-product-collections/documents (you may have to "Follow" the group to see them).
It looks like they haven't been updated for Logos 9; I'll send in a request for that.
