Morphology code dictionary/index
Howdy all,
Does anyone know if there is a Morphology code dictionary or index that lists ALL the morphology codes and what they mean? I'm looking for an index kind of document so I can see them all at a glance.
I DO know how to view morphologies individually in the Reverse Interlinear pane and by making the Reverse interlinear visible inline, but these are not what I'm after.
Ultimately, I am trying to learn the morphologies faster so I can know what they mean when I see the code.
Also, is there a morphology guide that explains what the first position in the code refers to and all the options for that postion? For example VPAP-SNM.
1st position = part of speech. Options are Verb (V), noun (N), preposition (P), article (D), pronoun (R)
2nd position =
3rd position =
I called Logos customer support and sales and neither group were able to help with this. They said, "try the forums."
TIA,
Daniel

Note that there isn't just one set of codes. Different morphological systems in different resources may each have their own code.
The easiest way to get a handle on these is to open up a Search panel. Switch to a Morph search. Make sure the you are set to search "All Resources".
This will open a popup window that allows you to construct a search with all the different morphological options. At the top is a drop-down that will let you select a specific morphological system. As you click on the different morphology options, the search string will updated to show the codes for the options you have selected.

Wiki has Morphology Codes (logos.com) and a link to a nice PDF version

The wiki above certainly should answer the choices per position.
If you want an all-at-once listing for practice, each of the analytic lexicons provide a list associated with a chosen lemma, complete with the OL forms, morph, and then popover explain, either the morph or how it fits in the Bible. Good for eye-training. A right-click can then search for usage on the specific form.
ADDED: The Lexham GNT Analytical Lexicon also has a more extensive morph-code explanation (eg pronoun subtypes).

Great tip! Denise,For the first form aphtharsia NDSF(3) the (3) indicates the number of times it appears in the GNT, right? on right-click for that headword I get 2 instances: 1Co15.42 and Ep6.24. What don't I know?

Well, first, does your analytical match your greek resource? Second, Rick's non-Swete NT analytical runs against the SBLGNT and Apostolic Fathers.

Good to know, however the result is unchanged for the SBLGNT. What is the Apostolic Fathers link?Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

My Logos is off-line. The extra one is in the Martyrdom of Polycarp 14.1. You'll notice the greek form has 3 additional morph codes per usage.
