Copying Verses + Limitations Offline
So my laptop wifi/bluetooth adapter died on me a week ago and I've been "offline" on LOGOS for several days (I bought a usb wifi adapter and I'm back online again). During that time I discovered that the Fuzzy Search is internet dependent. What kind of crazy function is that? I was starting to use it quite a bit. It is nearly as good as Google searching for references. Unfortunately, if/when I move my destination will not have internet access on site and I'll only connect with my phone when I'm in town. So, needless to say, Fuzzy Search will be useless at that point.
Second, I recently discovered Copy Verses feature. I have it loaded in the same pane as my Information tab, my Look Up tab, and an LXX (for comparison with texts in the other two panes as needed). I have to admit, the Copy Verse functions surprisingly well. It automatically tracks with my main Bible version. Wherever it goes, the CV displaces that same verse. If I highlight multiple verses in the main Bible, the CV displays those. I was able to create my own formatting template in CV so it copies the verse exactly as I desire with the reference exactly the way I want. If I just want to copy the verse/passage reference, I can do that from the main Bible window (the reference box) or I can use the reference box in the CV tab. It is perfect.
Thanks LOGOS!

FL has put on their servers those features that require more computing resources than can reasonably be expected of a user's setup. It truly is as simple as that.

There are a number of Internet-only features in Logos 9. Search the Help File for "Net" to see them all.
