When I stylize a piece of text in Sermon Editor it makes italicized and bolded font normal

I select a portion of text and add a style. It goes from having italicized and bold font to all font being unitalicized and unbolded.

This is currently how the editor works I'm afraid.

It was reported at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/197133.aspx and I think there was a more recent discussion where this was acknowledged as an issue by Faithlife but I can't find that thread at the moment
