KYLE: another confusion of types - prayer/service book

I am still waiting for an answer on KYLE: Confusion over type:Catechism and type:Confessional Document in the library - Faithlife Forums (logos.com). But know I find that for the liturgy of the hours/Christian Prayer/Divine office that if it is for Catholics it is a service book but if it is for orthodox/byzantine catholics it is a prayer book. What distinction are you trying to make between service book and prayer book?

From my perspective these are all morning/evening prayer books ... some of which also include other hours:

What distinction are you trying to make between service book and prayer book?

The distinction that I really hope he wants to make is that books containing the texts and rubrics of liturgies be Type:Service Book, and books that do not qualify as Type:Service Book but do principally contain prayers be Type:Prayers.

With that distinction, all of the Type:Service Book resources in your post should remain such, Orthodox Daily Prayers (which contains Compline) should become one, and none of the monographs should remain Type:Monograph.

In addition, both The Orthodox Prayer Book: English and the Slavonic version of that resource should be Type:Service Book, since they contain Vespers, Matins, the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom, etc.

Also, Missale Romanum (LLS:MISSALEROMANUM) and Missale Romanum (Latin) (LLS:MSSLRMNMLTN) by Pope St. Paul VI need to stop being Type:Service Book. Kyle has made that change before, but somehow they are back.... For anyone who is confused, those are both Apostolic Constitutions, e.g., legislative documents, not service books--by any standard whatsoever. If you doubt me, read them.
