Power of resources that you didn't know you owned (because it came along with base packages)
I’m new to using all the great tools in Logos. Have been building my Library slowly knowing I have many years left to capitalize on it. Here is an example of how buying desired resources as part of base packages could help you.
In my Men’s group, our assignment was to bring verses that help us identify the distinguishing marks of a disciple. I typed in “disciple” in the Topic guide. There were 100’s of verses. I did scan them quickly. But I hit a goldmine when Logos showed me under “Sermons” the perfect resource: one by Charles Spurgeon titled “Characteristics of Christ's Disciples.” And I am a big fan of Spurgeon. I didn’t even know that I had this resource – must have come along with one of the base packages.
Someone on the Forum had mentioned that it is better to buy the resources you truly want as part of base packages as long as the package price is less than the sum of the individual resources that you truly want to buy. This example above shows you the power of simple tools + having resources that you didn’t really go out and buy specifically.
I believe in a Win-Win-Win God.

Very much so. My budget is limited, so I've always gone for the lower level base packages (only got a Gold once). I have been picking off the smaller ones when they come on sale, like with the present L7 Legacy Libraries. I also nearly always get the Free Book of the Month +1s especially if they are commentaries. Lately, when reading commentaries, I've been amazed as to how many of the cited resources I have when I hover over the links. I can go a lot deeper in study far easier now. I've definitely reached a tipping point where my Logos is no longer just a Bible (or theology!) study tool but truly a library.

A month or so I started seeing R.C. Sproul video's on my feed in Youtube. This guy is awesome. I had no idea I had like 12+ books of his in Logos.
