Mastering Personal Books

I am wanting to master the building of personal books. I have a subscription to Morris Proctors trainings but I think some of his material is lacking. For example he does not cover input fields which is important when building a study guide. Currently I am working on building some personal books on sermons and want the final personal book to be useful in guides etc. When I am studying a passage on Luke 1:1-4 I would like to see the sermons in my personal books that deal with this passage. What suggestions do you have for mastering personal books? Thanks!

Doing them. Practice builds mastering.
Looking into the many existing PBs that are available to learn from existing "masters" who built bibles, commentaries, lexicons, lectionaries....
Discussing in the files forum, getting tips from other users, maybe having a draft PB interactively reworked together with colleagues

NB: I don't recall ever seeing MP's training on PBs, but John Fallahee's training (on learnlogos.com) felt good quality to me when I took it some years ago

I understand what you are saying Michael and admire your desire to learn but years ago I eliminated the idea of "mastering" anything from my thinking. I can improve at most things but to actually master anything takes a huge amount of time.

That's why I like what NB. Mick suggests - practice lots, learn from others.
