This isn't a price rant; I'm just curious.
I acquired Explanatory Notes upon the Old and New Testament: Translation as part of a really good deal on a legacy package, so I'm grateful for it. It will have historical value for me to see how Wesley handled the text, compared to other translators. I am, however, intrigued by its standalone price: $65. Would anyone consider paying that? Maybe low volume accounts for the high unit price; with production costs being spread over fewer buyers. Maybe there was never a real expectation of individual purchases?
