What does this option do?

I *just* noticed, in the resource panel menu (3 vertical dots on upper-right-hand corner), there's an option "Show word by word indicator" underneath the "Read Aloud" option.

The "Show word by word indicator" option is greyed out on all of my resource panels.

What is it supposed to do? How do I activate it?

EDIT: The online help says this about this option, but it's always greyed out... why?

Show word by word indicator — Displays the animated word by word indicator in the resource as each word is read.

It drives the karaoke-like functionality of Read-Aloud when utilizing the Greek Audio NT with one of the supported Greek bible resources.

The ESV, for example, when a human voice is selected. If you change the Narrators setting to the System Narrator you will see the "word by word indicator" option disabled

My experience is that it only works with human narrators. Try ESV or LEB-NT.

Thank you all. I wonder:

1) Why that option is shown on all resource windows when it only works on a couple of resources;

2) How hard is it to make it work with machine narrators also (that would be a huge help!)
