Bible Study Magazine: Two Questions

Hello, I have a couple of questions about Bible Study Magazine.

1) It seems I read somewhere the issue is available electronically, but https://www.biblestudymagazine.com/ only has a couple of articles and an offer to subscribe. Can't subscribers read the whole thing on-line or perhaps as a Logos resource?

2) The current issue (July/August 2021) says you can go to https://www.logos.com/bsmresources to get discounts on some resources mentioned in the magazine, but so far the July/August 2021 issue is not posted there. Seems it should be. Any idea when the current issue stuff will be added?

You can buy copies in Logos, but I think it is a separate purchase from your subscription.

Thanks, Justin, I think you may be right. I already have the subscription, which sends the physical magazine to my home. Still trying to figure out how to order the books, for example Esau McCaulley's "Reading While Black" at the 10% discount promised in the magazine.

I occasionally get an issue from them (I assume for promotion purposes unless it’s baked into my Logos tier purchas). Seems to me they could save money by sending us a coupon for the Logos version instead of print.

A print subscription does not provide you access to the digital edition (a Logos resource), and the digital edition is in no way timely to the print edition. Faithlife Connect subscribers gain temporary access once it is available, which is typically on a many month delay from the print edition.

It looks like the last update was in October of last year. I know that there was continual griping about how long it took for the updates to come. Perhaps they will wait until the last edition of 2021 to put it in the catalog. I assume that they haven't removed this as a benefit.

You are correct. The magazines are in my library. I never knew. I'm not going to gripe, I'm thankful for what I do have and never even guessed I had it. Thanks! JT[:)]
