L4B4 Install "Failed"
Got an icon on the systray that there was an update. Clicked and install started running. Got an error box that "Installation of Logos 4 failed"
I'm attaching (in a series of posts) three log files generated at the event, and a .png of the "help about" screen

Here's the .png
I noticed that another thread alluded to new resource(s) for L4B4, but since the fail, I can't confirm where I'm really at. My system is indexing, even as I write this.

Dale,
Check the release notes on Beta4. I think you'll find that your fail
is related to a corrupt resource file and that indexing will resume --
it sounds like it has -- but skip the corrupt one.

Chris,
Checked the release notes -- that may be what's happening, but it's certainly not the message I got. Still, it may be what happened, I just don't know. I clicked on the link in the release notes to see if I could manually force an install and I got another message that Logos 4 was properly installed. So, even though something failed, something else worked

Dale I've got the same situation.
This does not sound like the problem mentioned in the release notes:
The Beta 4 release notes state:“Indexer * If the Indexer encounters a corrupted resource, it will display a “this program has stopped working” dialog and prompt to send the error to Microsoft; once you send it, it will continue running (and will ignore that particular resource)
--Beta 4 Release Notes - Logos Bible Software ForumsNotice the difference in the error message.

Um, perhaps I should have noted:
- The reported version is 4.0.2.9821
- Everything seems to be working at the moment.

I was running 4.0.2.9786 last night, but after the new install, it's up to 4.0.2.9821 this morning.
